Curt Decker, Ph.D., PE, SE Joins CVM

We are excited to welcome Curtis L. Decker, Ph.D., PE, SE to CVM’s structural engineering team. As a Project Engineer, Curt will be focused on working with our clients to realize unique, elegantly-designed structures.

A graduate of the United States Military Academy with over 25 years of professional experience in the private sector and military, Curt has designed and constructed projects worldwide with a specialty in creative, high-level structures. He also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at West Point.

Curt is truly passionate about structures, and comes to CVM from the Army Research Lab, where he was a Senior Research Structural Engineer. The author of many publications, Curt frequently presents his research, and recently gave a talk at the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures Symposium 2018 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He contributes his expertise to the professional community as a key member of three ACI committees.
