This year, CVM Senior Project Manager Keith Kesner, PhD, PE, SE will again be sharing his extensive knowledge of American Concrete Institute (ACI) 562-16 with the concrete community. Dr. Kesner currently has two scheduled presentations, with opportunities to attend still available:
- July 18: Inaugural Meeting of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) Mid-South Chapter (Memphis, TN)
- September 20: ICRI Virginia Chapter Fall Symposium (Williamsburg, VA)
ACI 562-16 standardized the assessment, repair and rehabilitation of existing concrete. As an active member of ACI and a widely-recognized expert on the subject, Dr. Kesner was an early advocate for the creation of the code, which was developed in response to a need for a repair-specific standard. He then worked extensively on the development of the code, as secretary and committee chair.
