CVM’s Marcotte Elected to ACI Board of Direction

We are excited to announce that CVM Principal Tracy D. Marcotte, PhD, PE, FACI has been elected to the American Concrete Institute’s (ACI) Board of Direction. Her three-year term began at the Spring 2017 Convention in Detroit.

For over 100 years, ACI has developed and distributed concrete industry standards, while also providing resources to engineers, contractors, educators and students. The Board of Direction manages, supervises and controls the Institute’s assets, activities and affairs as it fulfills its commitment to international leadership and partnership in serving the global concrete community.

Dr. Marcotte has long been active with ACI, and is the Chair of ACI Committee 563, Specifications for Repair of Structural Concrete in Buildings, as well as an active member of the ACI Technical Activities Committee (TAC), TAC Repair and Rehabilitation Committee and multiple ACI committees related to corrosion, durability, sustainability, service life and repair. Tracy also works as a U.S. delegate to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), developing standards for concrete repair with delegates from 86 other countries.
