Construction defects at this eight year old high rise building in New York City led to premature failures of unbonded post-tensioning anchors. This created falling hazards along the perimeter of the building. Installation of sidewalk bridging around the building’s base was followed by a program utilizing swing stage access to inspect and remediate the tendon anchor and localized failure conditions.
