Every building has a life cycle. New structures are designed and constructed, beginning life in the world in service to human activities and resisting natural forces. During the building’s conception, CVM design engineers expertly collaborate with architects and other design professionals to design sophisticated and robust structural systems.

CVM’s engineers are enthusiastic and creative contributors to the design of both new buildings and adaptive re-use programs, and the alteration of existing structures. Our approach to engineering is to allow the appropriate structural systems to emerge out of the particular circumstances at hand, including construction logistics, site conditions, budget and design intent of the project.
