CVM Principals Jon Morrison, PE and Tracy Marcotte, PhD, PE, FACI recently served as consultants to students in PennDesign’s Richmond Preservation Planning Studio, a second-year graduate class preparing a preservation plan for the Richmond Generating Station in Philadelphia. As the guest of Professor Pamela Hawkes, Jon, Tracy and PennDesign professor Suzanna Barucco discussed their collective experience with adaptive reuse and preservation projects, particularly their work at another disused Philadelphia power plant, Chester Waterside Station. Thank you to Professor Hawkes and her students; we look forward to working with these future preservationists again.
