Structural Engineer, new or experienced
CVM is looking for energetic and creative new (entry level) and experienced structural engineers who want to make an exciting career in structural design. At CVM, you’ll be engaged in the design of new buildings, the renovation of existing buildings, and the repair and restoration of existing structures for some of the nation’s premier institutional, industrial, and commercial clients.

Preservation and Rehabilitation Engineer, new or experienced
CVM is looking for creative, new or experienced engineers to assess, design, and administer building envelope and exposed structure solutions for our major institutional, commercial, and industrial clients. Minimum Bachelor’s degree from Materials, Civil (Structural), or Architectural (Structural) engineering program required, with a Master’s or PhD degree preferred.

CVM’s rehabilitation work involves the assessment of timber, iron, steel, masonry, concrete, stone, glass, terra cotta and non-ferrous metal systems, and the development of tailored repair and conservation strategies. Knowledge of ACI 562 and 563; ACI, AAMA, and ASTM standards; ICRI guidelines; and certifications from ACI, ICRI, NACE and PTI are assets to any candidate. Superlative oral, graphical, and written communication skills are essential.

Architect
CVM is looking for a highly-motivated, new or experienced architect interested in joining our building enclosure and historic preservation groups to work on our varied projects. Candidate should have good communication and graphic skills and be able to work independently within a team. Responsibilities include survey, building assessment, project documentation and consultant coordination.

Candidate shall have a degree in architecture, with a Master’s degree preferred. Historic preservation proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp and 3dMax desired. MS Office proficiency required.
