The Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia announced that Richards Medical Research Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania will receive a Grand Jury Award at the 2019 Preservation Achievement Awards. CVM served as the facade restoration consultant for this comprehensive renovation, which was designed by Atkin Olshin Schade Architects.
A National Historic Landmark, Richards was designed by Louis Kahn and completed in 1960. CVM conducted a condition evaluation of the exterior and designed and oversaw restoration work for this historic building.
