As Harvard’s historic River Houses undergo a comprehensive, fifteen year renewal program, many campus spaces are being repurposed as student residences.

CVM supported the design team in one such effort, serving as building envelope consultant in the conversion of a 15 year old hotel into a swing dormitory.

Rehabilitation efforts focused on the central atrium skylight system and wood framed, vinyl-clad casement windows, the latter of which had reached the end of its service life.
