The conversion of a 2.8 million SF automobile manufacturing plant into an electronics manufacturing and assembly facility required creative solutions to reuse and reinforce as much of the existing building structure as possible.  A unique external post-tensioning reinforcing system was designed and installed to effectively increase the load capacity of a portion of the existing steel truss roof framing by a factor of three times the original.  Suspended mezzanine floors were added along with roof level chemical mix / distribution rooms and roof top mechanical equipment.
