Glass Manufacturing Museum, Research Library

A research library within a manufacturing museum wished to strengthen an existing steel framed floor to support the installation of a new high density file storage system. CVM led a multi-disciplined team in identifying all architectural and mechanical components that could affect a potential strengthening scheme, and then developed a strategy that minimized architectural and mechanical component disturbance, while providing the needed load capacity for the new filing system.
